SecuritySpy will often report bad username/password even though SecuritySpy has not been touched then suddenly the camera returns and the same username/password is now ok. SecuritySpy will frequently 'lose' a camera - going to the cameras webpage shows the camera is up and working with a video stream running. I have three Unifi APs evenly spread around the houseġ. I am running SecuritySpy on a 2012 Mac Mini 10.12.6 2.6GHz i7 4 core with 8GB RAM about 40TB of diskģ Foscam C1s - connected using Foscam H264 profileġ Foscam F19902P - connected using Foscam H264 profileĢ zeetopin 1080p cameras - using ONVIF profile I am having a few 'teething' issues I would appreciate any constructive feedback To test to ensure the functionality is working, I'm pointing my camera to a local disk and will let it run for a few days. I really don't want to have to babysit the software and monitor its disk usage. SS seems to be ignoring the remaining files for some reason.Īny idea where to start? I've been trying to figure this out on my own for several weeks. What's interesting is that my daily email from SS Daily Stats email states:ġ6.4 GB is *roughly* 1 day worth of recordings, however when I look at the share, there are recordings going back to the last time I manually removed the files, which was May 22 (the oldest folder now is, 290 GB of files currently exist). I have the software setup to delete old files after 1 day (both for startup and all other disks) but this doesn't seem to be working entirely. I can delete files both from the share (mounted as AFP) and from the server itself as the user (cameras), so I'm confident this isn't a permissions issue. For example: Motion detected outside when not home, download outside camera image, send pushover notification.I have a FreeNAS server (11.2-RELEASE-U1) setup as my capture destination for SS. Step 7: Create triggers for the actions created in previous steps.Step 6: Create pushover notifications with attachments using the same variable.Step 4: In the action config, enter %%v:XXXXXX%% for the Destination location.UPDATE (v1.1): If using Cynical SecuritySpy plugin, your camera numbers and names will automatically be loaded for you. Get the camera number for your cameras by using the web interface for SecuritySpy and looking for the "cameraNum" variable in the URL bar when viewing the desired camera. Step 3: Create a "Download URL/SecuritySpy Image" Action or Action Group to download the camera image using this plugin.Step 2: Copy the IDs for each of the variables.outside_camera1_snapshot /Users/bob/Documents/CameraImages/outside_camera1_snapshot.jpg Step 1: Create variables for each of your cameras with the full path to a location to store a snapshot of that camera. These are intended to be used in tandum with triggers to save local copies of your security camera to your Mac, typically so that they can be used again for a notification, such as with the Pushover plugin. Action 2: Download multiple images and stitch them together vertically.Action 1: Simple download to the local mac (source can be SecuritySpy or a specified URL).It creates two actions for downloading images from SecuritySpy. This plugin is a helper set of actions for users of SecuritySpy and Indigo.
